Sarah and Lara contacted me before the laws had changed and their ceremony was going ahead regardless of our sometimes backwards country.
Saturday the 13th of October was one of the best weddings I've been to. These two did everything their own way and it created a relaxed special day from the get go (Sarah even had to go in for uni work the morning of!!). From getting ready together (up till getting in their gowns) a first look followed by a bridal shoot, then having everyone come for what they thought was an evening to celebrate their engagement was actually and evening wedding set up on the banks of the swan river in front of the The Nedlands Yacht Club.
All week we'd been watching the weather and a forecast of 10 to 20mls was predicted even up to the very day, I lost count of the times vendors said to each other how amazing it ended up. But it held off the whole evening.
